Hi everybody,

Oh, what a month!!! So much to tell. Nick and I have been in the studio a lot this month working on Nick's new single, “I Want a Girl” to be released next week and also rehearsing our songs for our debut on the Grand Ole Opry stage this past Thursday night as part of bluegrass legend, Dr. Ralph Stanley's Forever Tribute. It was a magical night, one that I'll never forget. There were so many talented musicians, all paying tribute to the great Dr. Stanley and a wonderful and supportive audience. I thought I would be nervous performing on such a big stage, but instead I was just so happy to be there and felt so at ease. I sang Carter Stanley's song, “White Dove” with the Nathan Stanley bluegrass band (what an amazing band) and Nick sang Josh Turner's, “Long black Train” and the audience just loved it. Just as things couldn't possibly get any better, another surprise awaited. Allie Colleen, daughter of Garth Brooks, also debuted at the Opry as part of this tribute (what a beautiful, talented girl) and Garth and Trisha Yearwood came to support her. What can be said of these two superstars? The nicest, most considerate people in the world. They stayed backstage for more than two hours, talking to the Stanley family and took pictures with all of us there. Wow! What a night!!! A dream come true!!

Along with Nick's new Country single, “I want a Girl”s release this month, (and I know you are going to love it), I am releasing two Christmas songs that I wrote and recorded for distribution to radio next week also, “I want You for Christmas”, a tribute for our troops, and “Where Have You Gone”, a beautiful Christmas song. Please listen for them when Radio starts playing Christmas songs next month and let me know what you think. As always, I am so grateful to you for all your support.

Lots of love,

Cherie.
